Me: Hello, I’m Matt Summers, and tonight I have a special guest with me tonight. I’m here with my dad, and role model, Lucas Summers, Sir thank you for being here.
Lucas: Thanks for having me, son.
Me: So, I just want to throw a few questions at you, about, well movies. You obviously like movies as much as I do, or we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
Lucas: Well, when I was in elementary school, on every Friday I used to go to my grandparents house and, well, have hamburgers. Sometimes my parents would let me sleep over. When I would wake up in the morning, my grandma would fix me some raisin bran, some orange tang, set me up in front of the TV, and I would watch the old 80s movie 9-5, which, back then was the only movie that they had on VHS, because they didn’t have cable.
Me: What is your first movie that you saw in theaters?
Lucas: My first movie that I saw in theaters was Star Wars A New Hope. I was 9 months old, and my parents still tell me to this day that when Aunt Veru called for Luke, I yelled “What? What?”
Me: What is your favorite movie that you went to in the theaters with family?
Lucas: I can tell you right now that you know which one I’m about to list. Finding Nemo. You were just two, and half way into the movie, you started running up and down the aisle. But, anyway, that was easily my favorite.
Me: What was your worst movie experience? Do you have one?
Lucas: Yes I do. When I was in junior high and high school, my youth group and I, we would go out together and always watch these scary horror movies. we would always watch movies like ‘It’, ‘Friday the 13th’ and other scary things like that. but the utterly worst movie that can remember was watching ‘Signs’ all by myself. In the desserts in Colorado.
Me: Who is your favorite movie Director? Do you have more than one?
Lucas: Well, I’ve always liked Clint Eastwood, his character is good. I’ve always like M. Night Shymalan. Do you remember when you and I went to go and see After Earth?
Me: Yes I do. I remember that you and I both screamed as loud as we could while holding onto each other.
Lucas: Yep! (laughs) that was pretty fun.
Me: what is the worst movie that you have ever seen?
Lucas: Well, your grandpa can tell you this, Son, but I remember as a teenager watching Blazing Saddles and thinking it was the worst movie an the face of the planet. My dad had asked my to watch it with him over and over and over. Finally I did, and trust me, I regret it.
Me: Well thanks for coming, I sue appreciate it.
Lucas: I live here, son.
Me: Well, that’s all the time we have for today. Post your comments down below and tell me what you think of this interview. Did you like it? Do you agree with the opinions that are given?
